| Morse Hall
This is an elegant building originally built to serve as the residence quarters for the superintendent of the complex. This building dates back to 1912 and is one of the first buildings constructed in the campus. The design of the building is two and one-half stories plus a full, unfinished basement. In this case, part of the upper one-half story is finished and was originally the servants' quarters. The total building area is 11,300 square feet, including the basement area and the finished portion of the upper one-half story. This building was recently used as administrative offices. The main floor layout includes a vestibule, an expansive foyer area, a small kitchen and four large rooms, each of which has a fireplace. Second floor building area is more segmented, including multiple, smaller rooms. |
